Do you pierce Children/Infants?

No. We do not pierce anyone under the age of 14.

What jewellery do you use?

We will only pierce with implant grade, hypoallergenic and nickel free titanium & 18k Gold. We have a wide range of jewellery options including opal, genuine swarovski crystals and genuine stones from brands such as Anatometal, Industrial Strength, sacred symbols and Qualiti Body jewellery. All high brand pieces are Internally Threaded.

What is the difference between internally threaded and externally threaded?

Internally threaded body jewellery has a threaded hole inside the barbell and an external thread protruding from the ball. Externally threaded body jewellery has the thread on the end of the barbell and it is placed inside a threaded hole in the ball. This means that when the jewellery is being passed through the piercing, the threads also pass through it, and then the ball is screwed into place. Having internally threaded jewelry inserted in a fresh piercing is much more comfortable due to the smooth surface compared to the ridged surface of externally threaded pieces. Having internally threaded jewellery for initial piercing also speeds up the healing process!

Can I bring my own Jewellery to be pierced with?

No. We will not accept customers own jewellery to be pierced with or fitted. Our jewellery is the correct material for body piercing and all of our jewellery is cleaned and sterilised in house for your protection.

I’m pregnant, will you pierce me?

No. It is best to refrain from any type of body piercing procedure whilst you are pregnant.

My piercing has developed a lump, what shall I do?

Come by the studio as soon as you can so we can take a look and see what’s going on. Call or email for help if an immediate trip to the studio is not possible. Always contact us first before removing jewellery or applying any creams, oils, antibacterial sprays etc. You can also take a look at our aftercare page here or refer back to your leaflet we gave you when you had your piercing done.
